Gaya Street is located in the Kota Kinabalu Central business District has been the centre of business for over a hundred years.
Every Sunday morning, the length of Gaya Street is closed off to traffic to make way for the Fair. Shop for anything under shady trees and over-sized umbrellas, like batik sarongs, fruits and flowers, arts and craft, footwear, antiques and souvenirs, cakes, even pets and herbs!.
This is the best place to experience the cross-section of the local population when entire families enjoy a Sunday outing.
The Gaya Street Fair is on every Sunday from 6.30 am to 1.00 pm

KIpandi Butterfly Park
Q: Where can we find butterflies park?
A: Kipandi Butterfly Park, also one at Poring Hotspring.
The Kipandi Butterfly Park is located at the Kg. Kipandi, Moyog about 36km from Kota Kinabalu city via Penampang-Tambunan road. They can easily reach from Kota Kinabalu by vehicle. It’s a great place to relax, in the mountain air of the Crocker Range.
The Park surrounded by the hills of the Crocker Range and lies at 700m altitude and rich in entomofauna. It’s a great place to do photography these beautiful butterflies, native orchids, exotic flowering plants and the amazing insects collection especially the butterflies and beetles. The Crocker Range is among the best insects diversity in Sabah. Many rare and endemic species of butterflies and beetles which only can found in this range, especially the family of stag beetles(Lucanidae) like Cyclommatus chewi, Odontolabis katsurai and Odontolabis schenki among the rare and localized species it known only from the mountain forests surrounding Crocker Range and endemic of Sabah.
Over 100 species of butterflies have been recorded in the park area and many butterflies come into the garden to suck nectar from many flowering shrubs, including the most rare and endemic mountains species butterflies family of Papilionidae especially Graphium procles, Graphium stratiotes and Troides andromache (Borneo Birdwing).

Mari Mari Cultural Village
Mari Mari Cultural Village is another tourist attraction in Sabah. It is located in Kiansom Inanam, a journey takes approximately 30 minutes from Kota Kinabalu.
As you traverse the village, you will find demonstration huts along the tribe houses in which daily activities of old times come into life. For example, the making of blowpipe, starting a fire (from bamboo tree- you will learn the steps of making fire without the help of a lighter), tattoo-making and its symbolisms) and more!
By the end of your journey into the past, you have been given a setting for you to see, hear, taste and feel the uniqueness of what Sabah truly is. An unforgettable encounter of our Sabahan homeland.

Upon your arrival to this village, before entering, you will be given a welcome ceremony. Visit each tribe's traditional house and do some in house activities and stopover at demo huts. Later, proceed to cultural performance. You may also leisure around for photo taking.
Traditional and fusion cuisines will be served for lunch/ high tea/ dinner before the end of the tour.
Please note * they provide three ( 3) daily scheduled arrivals; Morning, Afternoon & Evening.
